The Summer Term sees boys from Woodcote involved in all sorts of events and activities in what looks like being another busy, term full of stimulating and exciting activities. As a Lead Ambassador School for the Hungry for History organisation, Woodcote will be part of the Waterloo200 pageant in London on Sunday 21st, June. We will also be hosting a Waterloo lecture on Thursday 18th, June for local schools. There are a number of field trips organised including trip to Lulworth Cove, Cadbury World, a local farm, the Big Bang Science Fair and the annual tour to the battlefields of The Great War for our Year Seven boys and their parents. The academic focus is obviously the Common Entrance exams in June for the boys at the top of the school and the end of year exams in June for the rest of the school. Cricket matches, Speech Day and the school play, concert and family BBQ weekend are the social highlights of the term where parents and visitors get a chance to enjoy the fantastic gardens and grounds that the boys take for granted day in day out!
