“I could talk at length about the benefit of boarding; the way it allows you to become fully immersed and engaged with school life, the way it encourages you to fill your hours with extra curricular and find your passion be it sports, arts or music.”

Or even just the way that it feels like an extended sleepover with all your closest friends, forming relationships that, for me at least, have lasted well over a decade and continue going strong. But perhaps the biggest advantage that boarding gave me was a grasp of independence, something that I felt when I arrived at University. An ability to manage my time, to manage my workload and to stand on my own two feet away from home; something that did not come as easily to my day school peers. Boarding prepared me for the ‘real world’ better than any other school experience could.
