Testimonials

Woodcote is great fun. I love the sport, especially football, riding and golf. The teachers are fair and are always around to help in the evenings and at weekends; they make lessons interesting and I feel confident about Common Entrance and going on to Public School. Best of all I have made masses of great friends.”

“There is so much at Woodcote we will miss – the wonderful Concerts, the delicious Match Teas, the superb Plays, the memorable Carol Services – but above all the warm, friendly welcome we always received from boys and staff. We, and our son, felt we belonged to the Woodcote family from the very first day.”

Sporting Achievement

The team games are important certainly, with the vital lessons for life that they instil, and cricket, rugby, football and hockey are all coached and played successfully, extremely so for a small school, with teams at all levels of age and ability.

However individual interests and talents must be allowed to flourish as well, and boys have the opportunity to have professional coaching in an ever-increasing variety of individual sports including, of course, tennis (the school has five courts), swimming (indoor or outdoor) and athletics (all track and field disciplines), but also, to name but four, golf, judo, riding and rifle-shooting.
