The Woodcote School Day

A unique feature of the Woodcote school day is the short morning Prep time which brings Boarders and Day Boys together for a focused time of independent, supervised study. In our experience it sets the boys up for the day ahead and at the same time frees up their afternoons and evenings for extra-curricular activities, sports and letting off steam with friends.

Lessons are usually 40 minutes long with a five-minute wind-down time in between. Two double lessons of one hour each day encourage the boys to concentrate for longer periods and give our teaching staff the flexibility to cover key subject areas in greater depth.
